Grief from Losses
Interacting with other people in family, businesses, medical, etc., there will always be disagreements, conflicts, problems, always. I know that. And I know how to navigate through them, sometimes irrationally head on, sometimes dancing between them and sometimes working them. Working a conflict is a learned skill, it is giving the other person trust in my concern for them and giving them room to move in the direction that I want/need them to move without resentment or brute force. I am skilled at this, but it is work and at times I wish I could get away with less of that work.
Today, I almost feel overwhelmed, but then I remember it is always like this, there are always troubles, every day, and we work through, in, or around them. We've done it before, countless times and today can be the same.
The One who breathed Heaven and Earth into existence is my strength and salvation.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Heb 12:1-3 NIV
Just take the cards of the morning, all the things cued up to be dealt with and stamp them with Truth about their importance and my ability to solve them, realistically.
I am responsible for some of them.
